The following is an illustrative example written to show how an assessment works. It is not a real Evelon Digital client, not a historical case, and not a stated result.
The situation. A café on Jetty Road receives four one-star reviews over a long weekend, each mentioning a dish the café stopped serving eighteen months earlier and none naming a specific staff member or describing the fit-out accurately.
What gets checked. Historical menus, the POS system for the dates in question, and whether any of the reviewer profiles show a pattern — recent creation, a single other review, or a connection to a nearby competing venue.
How it would be assessed. Reviews describing a menu item that provably did not exist during the period claimed support a fake-engagement argument, provided the historical menu records back it up. Each review is still weighed on its own facts rather than as a group.
What we would not tell you. That all four reviews will come down, or on what date. Google decides every report independently, and even a well-evidenced one can be rejected. An assessment tells you which reviews are worth reporting and why.
