Trustpilot review help for Victorian businesses

Victoria is home to a large share of Australia’s fashion, homewares and direct-to-consumer brands, as well as a busy tech and startup scene. For these businesses, Trustpilot is often the first review site a new customer sees. We help Victorian businesses work out which reviews genuinely break Trustpilot’s rules — and report them the right way.

  • Free initial assessment
  • No upfront removal payment
  • Confidential handling

Can a Victorian business remove a Trustpilot review?

A business can’t delete a Trustpilot review itself, but it can report one that breaches the guidelines. Trustpilot then decides. Reviews from non-customers, abusive content and personal information are the most common valid grounds; honest negative feedback from real customers normally stays.

Online retail, delivery delays and Trustpilot

For online stores, the most damaging reviews are often about deliveries — and a surprising number come from people who ordered from someone else, bought through a marketplace reseller, or never placed an order at all. Where your order system shows no match, that gap is the core of a strong report.

Genuine delivery complaints are different. If a real customer’s parcel was late, the right response is a prompt public reply and a fix, not a report. We’ll tell you which is which.

What Victorian businesses ask us to assess

Typical requests from Melbourne, Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo and regional Victoria include:

  • Reviews with no matching order number, email or account
  • Reviews left after a refused refund that misstate what happened
  • Posts naming staff or including private customer details
  • Reviews that appear to come from a competitor or reseller
  • Several reviews in a short burst from new accounts

Consumer Affairs Victoria and Trustpilot

Consumer Affairs Victoria deals with disputes between traders and consumers. It has no role in moderating Trustpilot. Even where a dispute has been resolved, the review stays unless it breaches Trustpilot’s guidelines or the customer edits or deletes it.

How we work with Victorian businesses

We’re based in Sydney and assist Victorian businesses remotely. You send the review link or a screenshot, we assess it, and if it’s worth pursuing we quote before anything starts. There is no upfront removal payment.

How it works

  1. Send your enquiry — the review link is optional at first.
  2. We assess the review against Trustpilot’s guidelines and give you an honest answer.
  3. If it’s worth pursuing, we quote for your situation. Nothing starts until you approve.
  4. We prepare and lodge the report through Trustpilot’s own process and keep you updated.

There is no upfront removal payment. Trustpilot makes the final decision on every review.
